In the days following release, IO Interactive confirmed Hitman 3 achieved the best digital launch in franchise history. Clearly, word-of-mouth is working in the stealth title's favor. The positive reception from critics and fans alike seems especially evident in the project's early successes. This latest entry in the Hitman series launched to much acclaim late last month. The developer will instead focus on remixing and reimagining levels featured throughout its World of Assassination Trilogy.
Studio CEO Hakan Abrak recently teased what players can expect from Hitman 3's post-launch content, explaining that there are no plans to roll out new maps. Today, IO Interactive detailed the February roadmap for Hitman 3, which is set to introduce new Elusive Targets and Escalation Contracts throughout the month.
